About Carolina Klüft
Carolina Klüft is one of the most celebrated track and field athletes in the history of Swedish sports. She has made a name for herself in events like heptathlon, pentathlon, and long jump. She shot to fame in 2002 after winning a gold medal in the heptathlon event at the European Championship.
Prior to her retirement in 2012, the athlete won a total of nine gold medals from some major competitions such as the Olympic Games, the World Championships, and the World Indoor Championship.

Her dad, Johnny, played soccer at the professional level. In 2007 she tied the knot with Patrik Kluft, also an athlete.
