About Carol Burnett
Carol Burnett is an American actress, comedian, singer, and writer.
Career
Though she had trouble early on with finding work and an alcoholic father, Carol Burnett is now a famous celebrity. Her first acting gigs were for The Paul Winchell Show and The Jerry Mahoney Show. She then had a variety of other acting roles before her breakthrough in Broadway in the late '50s and early '60s. She then was on The Garry Moore Show and The Carol Burnett Show. She won Emmy Awards for both of these productions. The Carol Burnett Show has also won Golden Globe Awards.
