About Carly Simon
Carly Simon is a Grammy Award-winning American singer-songwriter and author whose musical career began in the 1960s with the short-lived music duo the Simon Sisters. After the demise of the Simon Sisters in 1969, she went solo and gained worldwide stardom releasing several hits such as You're So Vain, Mockingbird and Nobody Does It Better. In 1994, she was honored with an induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Personal Life
She and singer-songwriter James Taylor tied the knot in 1972. The pair had two children: Sarah and Benjamin. The marriage ended in divorce in 1983. She married her second husband writer James Hart in 1987. She and James got divorced in 2007.
Trivia
She is a breast cancer survivor.
In 2010, she revealed for the first time that she was one of the victims of Kenneth I. Star’s infamous Ponzi scheme. According to her, she lost millions of dollars in the scheme.
