Family Life
Her parents are Stephen and Pamela Lloyd. She grew up with her brother Stephen and sister Ashley. She married golfer, Brian Hollins in November 2016.
Achievements
She scored goals that won her team gold medals in the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
She led the US national women’s team to victory by scoring three goals in a 5-2 win over Japan in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup as their Captain.
She has been noted as the first female to score a hat trick in a World Cup final, since Geoff Hurst in 1966.
She was awarded the Golden Ball Trophy for best player and Silver Boot for six goals during the 2015 FIFA Women’s tournament.
She received the Women’s Sports Foundation Athlete of the Year, as well as the March of Dimes Foundation Woman of the Year awards in 2015.
In 2019, she was adjudged the first player to score in six straight games in the Women’s World Cup.
