Playing Career
Everett’s first MLB draft was in 1992 with the Florida Marlins. He made his first Major League appearance on July 1, 1993, spending a season with the Marlins before being traded to the New York Mets in 1995. He played with them for two seasons (1995 – 1997).
He played the next seasons for the Houston Astros and the Boston Red Sox. On December 12, 2001, he was traded to the Texas Rangers and played there for the 2002–2003 season.
Between 2003 and 2005, he played with Chicago White Sox and the Canadian team Montreal Expos and returned to the White Sox in 2004. The player spent his final season with the Seattle Mariners, making his last MLB appearance on July 25, 2006.
Awards
He made the list of All-Star in 2000 and 2003.
In 2005, he led the Chicago White Sox to the World Series Championship title.
