Personal Life
This baseball star was named Adrian Constantine Anson when he was born and was enrolled at the high school sect of the University of Notre Dame boarding School. He was enrolled at the University of Iowa, however, they threw him out in his first semester due to his behavior.
When he was twenty years old, he crossed paths with Virginia Fiegal who was just thirteen years old. About four years after meeting, they got married and birthed seven children but lost three at very young ages. He stayed married to her until she died then in 1922, he himself passed away from illness relating to his glands.
Career
He was such a skilled baseball player that at different points in his life, he played for Rockford Forest Citys, Philadelphia Athletics and Chicago White Stockings. He also managed all the teams he played for except Rockford Forest Citys. In addition, he managed the New York Giants and is known to have made it to the Baseball Hall of Fame later in his career.
