Another notable role of Bergen was her appearance as Shirley Schmidt in the legal comedy-drama series Boston Legal where she was again nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award, both in the supporting actress category.
Film Career
Bergen’s equally successful big screen career include the films The Sand Pebbles (1966), The Wind and the Lion (1975), Starting Over (1979), Gandhi (1982), Miss Congeniality (2000), and Sweet Home Alabama (2002).
