About Burney Lamar
Burney Lamar is a three-time champion of the international Kart Federation and a professional American race car driver. He has competed and raced in both the NASCAR Nationwide Series and the Camping World Truck Series.
Career
He began racing at a young age and has since won three International Karting Federation Regional championships and 25 track championships. He began stock car racing at Stockton 99 Speedway and placed eleventh in the standings.
He earned Rookie of the Year in the USAC Western States Sprint Car Series in 2000. He won the Copper World Classic at Phoenix International Raceway that season in addition to his two triumphs in the West Series.
In 2008, it was revealed that he and Brian Vickers would share the Braun Racing No. 32 Toyota in 2009. After one top-10 finish in his opening races he was discharged in 2009

In 2006, he married Niki Taylor.
