Personal Life
Buffy was born in Canada but she was abandoned. Later she was adopted by a couple from Massachusetts. She got admission into the University of Massachusetts Amherst, she proved to be a very intelligent student and was among the top ten when she completed. She got married in 1968 to Dewain Bugbee who was a surfing teacher but the marriage ended in 1971. About four years later, she married Sheldon Wolfchild. That marriage also ended after a son and she went on to get hitched to Jack Nitzsche who was a writer but he died in 2007.
Career
When she was young, she learnt to play musical instruments on her own including the guitar and piano. She started playing songs and getting recognized. She started performing in concerts and festivals. After suffering from a codeine addiction, she began releasing tracks with reference to that. She released the track “Cod’ine” in 1963. She also worked on “Son of the Morning Star” as the voice of Kate Bighead in 1991.
Achievement
She has received over thirty-five awards and achievements for her music and contribution to society.
