About Buff Bagwell
American wrestler Buff Bagwell, known in private life as Marcus Alexander Bagwell, made his professional debut in 1990 under the North Georgia Wrestling promotion. He later moved to the Global Wrestling Federation before joining the World Championship Wrestling (WCW) where he would record most of his successes.
In 1994, he formed a great partnership with fellow American Delbert Alexander Wilkes Jr, known by the ring name The Patriot. They were collectively known as the ‘Stars and Stripes’ and won two World Tag Team Championships before disbanding in 1995.
The following year, he became a member of the American Males, alongside Scotty Riggs. The group won the tag team championship that same year. Before leaving the promotion, he had won a total of five World Tag Team Championships.
Personal Life
Between 1988 and 1994, he was married to Alexis Rianja. Two years after their divorce, the wrestler tied the knot with Gabby Randallson, but the marriage ended in 2000.
Education
He attended Sprayberry High School.
Achievements
In 1999, Bagwell was ranked at number 66 on Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s "PWI 500" list.
Trivia
He had a near fatal car accident in 2012.
In 2021, he was grabbed by the police and charged with five offenses including false identity, and over-speeding.
He has appeared in a number of films and television shows like “Charmed” and “Day of the Warrior”.
