About Brian Welch
Brian Welch, also referred to by his stage name Head earned a reputation as one of the pioneers of the nu metal genre. The American singer, musician and songwriter rose to fame as a founding member and a guitarist of the band, Korn which was formed in 1993. In 2012, five years after leaving Korn to focus on fatherhood and a solo career, he debuted in the Christian metal band, Love and Death. He rejoined Korn in 2013. His solo albums include “Save Me from Myself” and “Into the Light: The Testimony”.
Family Life
He grew up in Bakersfield, California. He was married to a woman named Rebekah with whom he had two daughters. They gave the first one up for adoption after birth.
Achievements
As a member of Korn, he won two Grammy Awards between 2000 and 2003.
