About Brian Gay
In his 19-year golfing career, Brian Gay won four PGA Tournaments, including the Fed Ex St. Jude Classic in 2009 and the Mayakoba OHL Classic at Riviera Maya - Cancun in 2008.
Early Life
He was born in Fort Worth, Texas, but spent the majority of his childhood at Fort Rucker, Alabama. He received a scholarship to attend the University of Florida playing for the Gators men's golf team. He was a SEC individual champion (1992, 1994) and a five-time individual medalist.
Career
He went pro in 1994, and in 1999, he joined the PGA Tour. After 293 PGA Tour starts, he won his first tournament in 2008 and the Humana Challenge in 2013, his fourth victory in four years.
After having back surgery in 2014–15, he did not play until the 2017 Valero Texas Open. His fifth PGA Tour title came at the Bermuda Championship in 2020.
