About Brandon Boyd
Brandon Boyd is a singer, songwriter, musician, visual artist and author. He rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the rock band, Incubus, which he co-founded in 1991.
The band has become known for their hit albums, “Morning View” and “Make Yourself”. In 2010, he released his first solo album titled “The Wild Trapeze”.
As a fine artist, Boyd has designed album arts and concert fliers, created paintings and held solo exhibitions.
Personal Life
He is the son of Charles Boyd and Priscilla Wiseman. He is also the elder brother of Jason Boyd, who used to sing lead vocals for the alternative rock band, Audiovent.
Achievements
Incubus’ fifth album, “A Crow Left of the Murder” earned a Grammy Award nomination in the “Best Hard Rock Performance” category.
