About Bradley Wiggins
Bradley Wiggins is a British professional cyclist who began his professional career with Linda McCartney Racing Team in 2001. He went on to race for teams such as Cofidis, Team Sky and WIGGINS. He is best known for being the first cyclist from Britain to win the Tour De France.
Family Life
He is the son of Linda and famous cyclist Gary Wiggins. He married Catherine Wiggins in 2004.
Achievements
Besides winning the Tour De France in 2012, he has won several other major races such as the 2011 and 2012 Critérium du Dauphiné, the 2013 Tour of Britain and the 2014 Tour of California. He won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award in 2012.
Trivia
He initially found difficulty coping with his fame that he began abusing alcohol to cope with it.
