About Bow Wow
Shad Gregory Moss, known professionally as Bow Wow and formerly Lil’ Bow Wow, began his career in rap in 1993 at six years old. He was first discovered by fellow rapper Snoop Dogg, in 1993 who gave him the opportunity to appear as a featured artist on his debut album, “Doggystyle”.
After meeting music executive Jermaine Dupri in 1998, his career took a different turn and he steadily rose to become a top rapper, despite his young age. Bow Wow has also worked as an actor, television presenter and radio show host.
Family Life
He was born to Teresa Jones and Alfonso Preston Moss. In 2011, he had a daughter named Shai Moss, with his ex-girlfriend Joie Chavis. He and “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta” star Erica Mena spilt after being engaged for a while.

His career honors include awards from the BET, Billboard Music Awards and the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
Facts
He became a main cast member of “Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta” from its inception in 2017. He also co-hosted BET’s “106 & Park” from 2012 to 2014.
