About Boris Becker
Having learnt to play tennis from a very young age at a tennis centre established by his architect father, Boris Franz Becker became a professional in the sport at barely 17 years old in 1984.
Until his record was broken four years later, he was the youngest male Grand Slam champion after winning the Wimbledon singles in July 1985, aged 17.
Apart from the French Open, the former world No. 1 tennis star from Germany played in the finals of other Grand Slam competitions.
Family Life
He was born to Karl-Heinz and Elvira Becker. He has been married and divorced twice. He has two children with former model Barbara Feltus, whom he was married to from December 1993 to January 2001.
He was also married to Sharley Kerssenberg, a Dutch model, from June 2009 to May 2018. They have a son together.
Achievements
During his hay days, he won one US Open and three Wimbledon championships. He also won two Australia Open titles.
