Bobby Moore was an iconic English professional footballer best remembered for captaining West Ham United for over a decade and for leading the England team to victory at the 1966 World Cup. Majority of football pundits rank him high in the list of the greatest defenders in football history.
Achievements
He helped West Ham United win the 1964 FA Cup Final as well as the 1964-1965 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. He went on to captain the England team that won the 1966 FIFA World Cup. He was posthumously inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2002.
