Bob Hoskins started his acting career in 1968 after making an appearance in a stage production titled “Romeo and Juliet”, which was performed at the well-known Victoria Theatre. The versatile English actor also featured in other notable movies like “Mermaids” and “The Long Good Friday”.
Family
He’s the son of Elsie and Robert Hoskins. Between 1967 and 1978, he was married to a lady called Jane Livesey. Together they had two children namely Sarah and Alex. He later got married to Linda Banwell in 1982. Their marriage also produced two children, Jack and Rosa.
Awards
Throughout his career, Hoskins received lots of accolades including BAFTA Award, Globe Award, and International Emmy Award.
Death
He died in 2014 after battling pneumonia and Parkinson's disease.
