About Bob Crane
Bob Crane was an Emmy Award-winning American actor who started as a radio personality before venturing into acting and making name for himself in numerous screen works, most notably the television sitcom Hogan's Heroes, in which he portrayed Col. Robert E. Hogan. His other famous television series works include The Donna Reed Show and The Bob Crane Show. He was bludgeoned to death in 1978. He was 49 years old.
Family Life
He was married twice. His first marriage was to Anne Terzian, with whom he had three children. His second marriage was to actress Sigrid Valdis, with whom he had a child and remained married to until his tragic death.
Trivia
For his role in Hogan's Heroes, he was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards, one of which he won in 1966.
Decades after his body was found bludgeoned to death in his apartment, police have still not been able to solve the brutal murder.
