About Bernie Kosar
Retired American football player Bernard Joseph Kosar Jr., better known as Bernie Kosar played college football for the Miami Hurricanes of the University of Miami before making his NFL debut in 1985.
The former quarterback first played in the league for the Cleveland Browns from 1985 to 1993 before moving to the Dallas Cowboys, where he spent only one season. He ended his career with the Miami Dolphins, for which he played from 1994 to 1996.
Family Life
He grew up in Boardman Township, Mahoning County, Ohio. He is of Hungarian ancestry. He has four children with his ex-wife, Babette Ferre to whom he was married for 17 years (1990-2007). He has been in a relationship with Anna Tomaro, an entrepreneur.
Achievements
He became a Super Bowl champion with the Dallas Cowboys in 1994. He played in two Pro Bowl games.
Trivia
In 2017, he published an autobiography titled “Learning to Scramble”.
