He is the son of Eldy and Peter Bratt, Sr. He married actress Talisa Soto in 2002. He and Talisa had their first child, Sophia in 2002. Their second child, Mateo was born in 2005.
Awards
In 2000, he won a Screen Actors Guild Awards for his role in Law & Order. He also won the Imagen Awards for Best Actor for his performance in the film La Mission.
