About Ben Mulroney
Despite coming from a popular family, Ben Mulroney has made a name for himself as a renowned television personality. He started his career in the industry in 2001 when he was made an entertainment correspondent for CTV's “Canada AM”.
The following year, he was named as one of the hosts of the network’s entertainment show dubbed “etalk”. Before leaving CTV in 2021, he hosted a number of shows which include “Your Morning” and the reality series “Canadian Idol”.
He also worked with ABC News in 2012 where he contributed to the “Good Morning America” show. He has also appeared on programs like “Live with Kelly” which is produced by WABC-TV, an affiliate of ABC Network.
Family
His father, Brian Mulroney served as the Prime Minister of Canada between 1984 and 1993. His mother is Mila Pivnicki Mulroney and grew up alongside three siblings including politician Caroline Anne Mulroney.
He has been married to Canadian stylist Jessica Brownstein. Their three children are Brian, John, and Isabel.
Education
Mulroney studied at the Hotchkiss School, and the Lycée Claudel d'Ottawa before enrolling at Duke University. He later read Law at the Université Laval.
Trivia
He and his wife were guests at the wedding ceremony between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
UNICEF Canada named him as their national ambassador in 2006.
