About Ben Miller
Bennet Evan Miller, known professionally as Ben Miller, began pursuing stage acting while pursuing his undergraduate degree in Natural Sciences in the 1980s. Upon completion of his studies, he began his PhD studies but abandoned it when he discovered his love for comedy.
The comedian and actor made a name for himself as half of the popular comedy duo, Armstrong and Miller. The other half is Alexander Armstrong. The two rose to fame together through their sketch shows, “The Armstrong & Miller Show” and “Armstrong and Miller”.
Family Life
He is the son of Rose Elizabeth Lincoln and Michael Miller. He was raised in Nantwich, Cheshire, alongside sisters Bronwen and Leah.
He and his first wife, actress Belinda Stewart-Wilson, with whom he has a son, finalized their divorce in 2011. He has two more children with his Jessica Parker, his second wife.
Achievements
He and Armstrong were recipients of a BAFTA in 2010 for their performances in “The Armstrong and Miller Show”.
Trivia
For many television audiences, he is recognized best for portraying DI Richard Poole in series one and two of “Death in Paradise”.
