Benjamin James Foden, shortened as Ben Foden, is a professional English rugby player. He is a versatile and dynamic player and has played as scrumhalf, fullback, and wingman for Premiership Rugby and Major League Rugby (MLR) teams. He has also had numerous international spells with England.

Foden was born in Chester, England.
The player received his primary and secondary education from Bishop Heber High School and Bromsgrove School. The player also attended Manchester University.
As a teenager, he had a promising career playing for Cheshire and earning call-ups of the England U16s, U19s, and U21 teams.
Club & International Career
Sale Sharks in the Premiership Rugby signed him in 2004. Foden made 54 appearances and accumulated 50 points in his four seasons at the team. Additionally, he won Sale Shark’s first Premiership title with the team in 2006.
He joined Northampton Saints in 2008 and stayed at the team for a decade. In 2019, he moved to Rugby United New York of the Major League Rugby.
He earned his debut England cap in February 2008 in an England and Italy game. Between 2009 and 2013, he made 34 appearances for England.
Personal life
From June 2012 until late 2018, he was married to Irish singer Una Healy. In 2019, he married Jackie Belanoff Smith.
