About Beau Bridges

Beau Bridges is the alias of American actor and director Lloyd Vernet Bridges III. He began acting as a minor in 1948, following in the footsteps of his actor parents Dorothy and Lloyd Bridges. He has received prestigious awards for his work in the miniseries “Without Warning: The James Brady Story” and the films “The Second Civil War” and “The Fabulous Baker Boys”.

Family Life

His brother, Jeff Bridges, is also a known actor. They have a sister named Lucinda. He has five children: two with his ex-wife Julie Landfield and three with his second wife Wendy Treece.

Accolades

He has received a Grammy Award and multiple Primetime Emmy and Golden Globe Awards

Trivia

He served in the United States Coast Guard Reserve for eight years, beginning in 1959.
