He is an American singer, songwriter and stage-play actor, who was born, Myron Avant but professionally known by the mononym, "Avant". As a unique and sensational singer, he is noted to have dropped over seven albums including having achieved at least three Platinum-selling albums.
His zeal for music was initiated right from a young age as he started writing his own songs at the age of fourteen. In 1998, he independently dropped his first single, "Separated" – a song which is centered on a failed romantic relationship.
The aforementioned song created a lot of buss and fortunately landed him a musical deal with Magic Johnson Music.
Some of his better known works, album-wise, include "My Thoughts" (2000), "Ecstasy" (20002), "Private Room" (2003), "Face The Music" (2013), and more.
Family Life
He was born into an American lower-class family. He is noted to have five older siblings where he happened to be the lastborn. He has a male child named Chase Avant.
