Atal Bihari Vajpayee was an Indian politician best known for being the 10th Prime Minister of India and the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was also Indian's Minister of External Affairs in Prime Minister Morarji Desai government.
Family Life
He was the son of Krishna Devi and Krishna Bihari Vajpayee. He was a bachelor throughout his life and adopted a daughter named Namita.
Achievement
He was conferred with India's highest civilian honor Bharat Ratna in 2015. His birthday, 25th December was declared Good Governance Day in 2014.
