Ashley Rickards is an American actress known for playing characters such as Mandy in the 2011 film Fly Away and Kristen Stevens in the 2014 film Behaving Badly. Her notable television series works include starring on One Tree Hill, in which she played the character Samantha "Sam" Walker. She went on to star as Jenna Hamilton on the MTV teen comedy series Awkward. In 2006, she appeared in one of the music videos of The Fray's hit single How to Save a Life.

In 2011, she became a member of MENSA International, the high IQ non-profit organization.
