About Aqib Talib
Having represented his high school on the basketball, track and field, and football teams, it was Aqib Talib’s outstanding performance in the latter which earned him a spot on the Kansas Jayhawks football team of the University of Kansas in 2005. After three seasons with the team, the cornerback declared for the 2008 NFL Draft and was picked by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He was traded to the New England Patriots in 2012. He has also featured in the NFL for Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams. He became a free agent at the end of the 2019/2020 season.
Family Life
He is the son of a man named Okolo Talib and his ex-wife, Theodore Henry. He has three older siblings; Yaqub, Saran and Kai. He has been married to Gypsy Benitez since March 2016. His children’s names are Kiara and Jabril.
Achievements
He was on the Denver Broncos team that won the Super Bowl 50. From 2013 to 2017, he consistently made it to every annual Pro-Bowl.
