About Anthony Horowitz
Anthony Horowitz is an English novelist and screenwriter famed for his novels such as Alex Rider, The Power of Five (known as The Gatekeepers in the US), The House of Silk and Moriarty. As a screenwriter, he has written and created numerous successful television series in the UK, including the award-winning drama series Foyle's War. He has also written for other popular television series such as ITV's series Agatha Christie's Poirot and Midsomer Murders.
Personal Life
He married Jill Green in 1988. The marriage produced two sons: Nicholas Mark Horowitz and James Horowitz.
Achievements
He won the Lancashire Children's Book of the Year Award in 1989 with the book Groosham Grange. He was awarded an OBE for his services to literature in 2014.
