About Anson Mount
Anson Adams Mount IV started performing professionally in stage productions at the Delacorte Theatre in New York in 1998. The same year, he garnered critical acclaim for his role as Joshua in the play, “Corpus Christi”.
In 2000, he appeared in his first film, “Tully”, which was an independent production. He has since found popularity through small screen roles such as Black Bolt in “Marvel’s Inhumans”, Cullen Bohannon in “Hell on Wheels” and Christopher Pike in “Star Trek: Discovery”.
Family Life
He is the son of former professional golfer, Nancy Smith and former Playboy magazine editor, Anson Adams Mount II. He has three elder half-siblings. In 2018, he married Darah Trang, a photographer.

He has received awards from schemes such as the Rosie Awards, Hollywood Film Awards and SXSW Film Awards.
Trivia
He has taught audition technique to graduate acting students of Columbia University, where he was appointed as an Adjunct Assistant Professor.
