Personal Life
From 1985 to 1993, she was married to Billy Smith, with whom she had a son named Daniel Smith. She married 89-year-old billionaire J. Howard Marshall in 1994 when she was only 26, resulting in speculations that she married him mainly because of his wealth. Marshall died thirteen months after their marriage. Her second child, daughter Dannielynn Birkhead was born in 2006.
Trivia
She died tragically at the age of 39 of an overdose of prescription drugs months after her son Daniel died at the age of 20.
