Andy Gibb was a singer/songwriter and teen idol.
Career
Following in the shadow of his famous brothers (members of the pop group Bee Gees), Andy Gibb managed to make a successful music career in the 1970 and 1980s. His earliest recordings were done in Australia, though most were not released. His first album, which featured his brother Barry and Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, was titled Flowing Rivers. It had two U.S. number one singles. Gibbs later recorded two other studio albums, including four more U.S. number one singles. Unfortunately, Gibbs struggled with drug addiction, leading to his death at the age of 30.
