About Andrew Flintoff
During his active years as a professional cricketer, Englishman Andrew Flintoff was highly ranked on the ICC’s list of best all-rounders in Test and ODI forms of the sport. He made his international debut for England in 1998, three years after starting his domestic career with the Lancashire County Cricket Club. He retired in 2009 from both the ODI and Test but in 2014, he returned to the sport to play for the Brisbane Heat of Australia for one season and then the T20 games for his former club, Lancashire.
Family Life
He is the son of Colin Flintoff, who also played professional cricket. He is a father of four and has been married to Rachel Wools since March 2005.
Achievements
In 1997, he won the NBC Denis Compton Award.
Trivia
He has served as a team captain on the British sports-based comedy game show, “A League of Their Own”.
