About Andre Drummond
Andre Drummond played high school and college football at St. Thomas More and the University of Connecticut respectively before his professional debut. He joined the NBA after he was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 2012.
In February 2020, he moved to the Cleveland Cavaliers as part of a trade deal but did not get to stay following a buy-out and in March 2021, he became an LA Lakers signee. He was signed by the Philadelphia 76ers team in August 2021.
Family Life
His parents are Jamaican immigrants. He spent his early years in Mount Vernon, New York and then grew up in the state of Connecticut afterwards. He was in a relationship with actress Jennette McCurdy.
Achievements
He was an NBA All-Star in 2016 and 2018. Apart from 2017, he has been the NBA’s rebounding leader every year from 2016 to 2020.
Trivia
He represented the United States in the FIBA Basketball World Cup in 2014.
