Career
The beginning of Andie MacDowell's career was in fashion modeling. She has worked with Vogue and several advertisment campaigns for other groups. She has been featured on New York City billboards and Calvin Klein commercials. MacDowell started acting in 1984 in the film Greystroke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. Interestingly enough, they creators of this liked how she looked and moved, but her accent was dubbed over by an English woman. After this, MacDowell studied acting to further her career and has been in films like Groundhogs Day and Short Cuts.
