About Ana Matronic
In 2001, Ana Matronic joined the rock group known as Scissor Sisters which marked the beginning of her rise to success. Known to be one of the lead singers of the group, Matronic played a key role in the recording of the band’s eponymous maiden album. By the end of 2012, the collective, with the help of Matronic, had released a total of four studio albums and two EPs.
Other projects
Outside of the group, the American singer has undertaken other side projects. She was included in New Order’s 2005 hit song "Jetstream" which was off their album titled “Waiting for the Sirens' Call”. During the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, she worked with Radio 2 Eurovision as a commentator.
She has also appeared on lots of television programs such as “Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two” and “The Voice UK”. She has gone on to host a number of shows on BBC Radio 2.

She’s officially known as Ana Kirby and has been married to Seth Kirby since 2010.
Achievements
As a member of Scissor Sisters, she has received many awards including the Bambi Prize, Brit Awards, and GLAAD Media Awards.
Fun Facts
Aside from music, she is also known to be a writer and published a book titled “Robot Universe: Legendary Automatons and Androids from the Ancient World to the Distant Future” in 2015.
Her love for robots inspired her stage name.
She has been lauded for her works with Chrysalis, a UK-based charity organization.
