About Amber Liu
Amber Liu began his music career with the South Korean group known as f(x). She joined the band in 2009 and helped them to record a number of albums, which include their maiden one, “Pinocchio” in 2011. However, she began her solo project four years after their first album. She has, therefore, released numerous hit singles such as "Wave" and "On My Own". After recording some successes, she went on to drop her debut album in 2020, which is etitled “X”.
Family
Her full name is Amber Josephine Liu. Though she’s an American, she has a Taiwanese origin. She was raised together with her sister called Jackie.
Achievements
At the 2015 MBC Entertainment Awards, she won the “Best Female Newcomer Award”.
