Allen’s 1st role was in a theatre production of “A Streetcar Named Desire”. He then went on to his 1st film roles in “Cowboys and Aliens”, followed by “Man About Dog”. He was on the HBO miniseries “The Tudors” before being cast as the chauffeur turned son-in-law on “Downton Abbey”.
