About Alison Arngrim
Alison Arngrim’s parents already had established careers in Hollywood when she was growing up hence it was not unconventional when she debuted in the industry as a child actress at 12 years old. She became a household name through her role in the historical drama television series, “Little House on the Prairie” from 1974 to 1982. After the show ended, she appeared less frequently on screen and has developed a career in comedy and been involved with philanthropy.
Family Life
She is the daughter of the late actress and voice actress Norma MacMillan and Thor Arngrim, a Hollywood manager. She is the younger sister of Stefan Arngrim, who was also an actor and whom she accused of sexually molesting her from when she was six until the age of nine. She has been married twice: first to Donald Spencer and then to Robert Paul Schoonover.
Achievements
She won a TV Land Award and a Young Artist Award for her performance in “Little House on the Prairie”.
