Alan Thicke was a Canadian actor, game show host, songwriter and talk show host.
Career
Mostly known for his role as psychiatrist father, Jason Seaver of Family Ties, Thicke had also starred on other television shows such as, Diff’rent Strokes, Hello Larry and The Facts of Life.
Songs were also written for television shows by Thicke- The Facts of Life, the Wizard of Odds, The Joker’s Wild, Wheel of Fortune and Celebrity Sweeptakes.
Personal Life
Alan Thicke was father to American singer, producer and songwriter, Robin Thicke and had formerly been married to Days of Our Lives star, Gloria Loring, Miss World’s, Gina Tolleson and was married to actress Tanya Callau, until his death in 2016.
