About Aki Hakala
Finnish musician Aki Hakala has made a name for himself through his work with the roc band, The Rasmus. He became a member of the band in 1999 as a replacement for the band’s founding member, Janne Heiskanen, who had departed.
He was invited to join the band following a sound check. Before becoming a member, he used to sell the band’s merchandise at concerts. He has helped the band record and release hit albums such as “Hide from the Sun” and “Dead Letters”.
Family Life
He was raised in Espoo, Finland. In 2007, he welcomed his first child, a daughter named Tinka.
Trivia
He has also pursued a career as an actor, having starred in the television series, “Siamin Tytot”.
