Aiden McGeady is a talented Republic of Ireland national soccer star who is noted for being utilized as a winger for League One side Sunderland as well as the Republic of Ireland national squad. He is known for his technique, speed and dribbling abilities.
He was inspired to pursue a career in the sport at a very young age following the footsteps of his father. He began with the Scottish Premier League club Celtic where he won one Scottish League Cup, four league titles, and Scottish Cups. Other clubs he has featured for include Spartak Moscow, Charlton Athletic, and Everton.
On the international level he played for the Republic of Ireland Under – 17, under – 19, under – 21 before playing for the Republic of Ireland national team helping them win numerous tournaments.
