Former pro baseball player, Adam Dunn is a two-time MLB All-Star who has played for big teams such as the Cincinnati Reds, Washington Nationals, Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland Athletics, and Chicago White Sox. In 2012, he set the record for the most strikeouts in a season.
Baseball Career
Originally a football player, Dunn decided to redirect his focus to baseball in 1999, eventually making his debut with the Cincinnati Reds in 2001. He also represented the United States national baseball team at the 2009 World Baseball Classic. He retired in 2014.

Dunn hit 40 home runs in four consecutive seasons, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
The first baseman also appeared in the movie “Dallas Buyers Club” as a bartender, making him the first active baseball player to appear in an Academy Award-nominated movie. He was also one of the investors in the film.

Dunn married Rachel Brown in 2006 and the pair have four children.
